Assistance
Hawai`i PTAC provides a wide range of assistance to businesses through both, specialized professional training and technical assistance. All assistance and training are free of charge.
Counseling: One-on-one sessions with our counselors are designed to guide you on how to obtain government solicitations, prepare bids or offers and win contracts.
Bid Matching: Procurement notices are sent to you daily in computerized form from major bid sources such as Beta SAM.gov, Defense Logistics Agency, and local data bases which are current and relevant to your business.
Market Research: Provide web-based and other free resources, such as agency forecasts and procurement events.
Bid Preparation: Help with understanding the government’s request for proposals (RFP’s), such as bid proposal requirements and procedures for submitting bids. Assistance with reviewing your bid documents.
Education and Training: Conduct seminars and workshops on a variety of procurement topics such as doing business with the government, preparing RFPs, disadvantaged small business, minority owned small business, 8(a) Certification, women owned small business, veteran owned small business, joint ventures, teaming and partnerships, subcontracting, and doing business with the General Services Administration (GSA).
Business Networking: Sponsor and coordinate matchmaking events for prime contractors and small businesses that may lead to teaming agreements, prime and subcontracting opportunities.
